UK VAT laws that came into force on January 1, 2021 apply to the sale of goods from non-EU merchants to UK customers.
Due to Brexit, the Export/Import Process of packages between EU and UK takes extra time for processing and obtaining documentation which will reflect on the estimated time of delivery. Based on the data we have, on average, the package can take somewhere between 2 - 5 working days from the moment the courier picked up the package to final delivery at the customers' address.

Loose batteries and extra batteries restrictions
Please note that according to the IATA 2019 Lithium Battery Guidance regulations, we are not allowed to include any spare or loose lithium batteries in the air parcels, therefore we may have to take the CR2032 spare battery out of our VPS-100 Vacuum Pump System kit and only keep the one built-in CR2032 battery.
Quality of Postal Services
We use the Poland Post shipping services for all our standard shipping and we partner with DHL Express for all Express deliveries. All cross-border parcels are being transferred by Poland Post to their local postal service partner after the custom clearance in the country of destination.
All our parcels are shipped with Track & Trace number which can be followed in the www.internationalparceltracking.com systems. The tracking number is automatically sent to customer by email after the order has been shipped from our side.
Due to the nature of both local and international postal services in any country, there is a rare possibility that things can go wrong and the parcel can go missing. Salted Line Europe can not accept full liability for the loss of parcels which may happen beyond our reasonable control. We do not compensate or refund the orders lost by the postal service providers but we will take the following steps to help our customers in such unfortunate situation:
- We will initiate the internal investigation with Poland Post on the orders which have not been delivered within 14 days AFTER (!) the estimated arrival date. This is a standard Poland Post regulation which we have to follow.
- We will communicate with each customer directly to find an alternative solution in case of urgencies.

Salted Line Europe provides a limited 1-year warranty from the date of purchase for all products at our website against all defects in original workmanship and material under normal use and service mentioned in the owner’s manual with the exceptions specified below.
Warranty service terms and conditions
- The warranty applies only to the products purchased at our website www.saltedlineeurope.com, the reference to the valid Order Number is required when applying for warranty services
- The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the purchaser who placed an order on our website
- All correspondence concerning our warranty services must be accompanied by a copy of original sales receipt and/or the Order Number with is mentioned on your order confirmation email, starting with SLExxxx. Please use the Warranty Claim communication example below as a reference.
- This warranty does not apply and may be rendered completely void in the event of accidental physical damage, misuse, flooding due to neglect, tampering, lack of care and maintenance, improper storage, or unauthorized storage
- This warranty becomes void if the product components are damaged by anything other than normal recreational diving or surf photography usage
- Any intentional or unintentional modifications made to the housing, its controls, O-rings or other parts will void the warranty
- We reserve the right to ask for a photographic evidence of the housing damage or even the return of the housing back to our engineers for an inspection
- In case your product is confirmed to be defective upon the receipt of the returned product by our warranty specialists, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge, excluding shipping and handling charges. Salted Line Europe reserve the right to charge shipping and handling fees which will be clearly communicated to client before the repair or replacement.
- Each underwater camera housing is tested in high pressure chamber and examined before it is shipped. It should be visually and operationally checked as soon as it is received. If it is damaged in anyway, please notify us immediately.
- Repairs made under this warranty will not extent the warranty period
The warranty does NOT cover:
- A 3rd-party camera inside the Salted Line housing. It is full responsibility of user to arrange for the relevant insurance coverage or accident coverage of the photo camera used inside your underwater housing.
- Any leakage or damage caused by misaligned or not properly serviced O-ring seal
- All paint finishing, cosmetic discoloration of surfaces, powder coating, or material stitching that is chipped, damaged, or unthreaded through customer use that do not affect functionality of the product
- This warranty specifically excludes cords, wet connectors and O-rings
- This warranty specifically excludes products with similar type numbers and/or names that are purchased from Amazon, AliExpress, eBay or other third party sellers. Salted Line Europe reserves the right to decline any communication and support on purchases outside of our website. For the quality issues with product(s) not purchased from Salted Line Europe, customers are advised to contact the respective vendor(s) directly.
Limited Liability statement
- Salted Line Europe does not accept any liability for any loss, damages, or expenses including incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly arising from the sale or use of the product
- Salted Line Europe does not accept any liability for any loss of captured images or video or the inability to capture images or video even if it is due to the manufacturing defect or leakage of the product
Example of a Warranty Claim communication
Subject: Warranty claim for the order SLE(your order) eg.#SLE1111, copy of the purchase order invoice attached.
Please write your order number in the subject line, this will allow us to quickly recognize your claim even when the mail server places your message in a Spam folder.
We advise you to follow those steps if you need to send us a warranty claim.
Step 1: Prepare the photos or video which clearly illustrates the damage. You can fill up your housing with paper tissues, close it properly and soak it in a bucket of water for 20 min under some pressure. The leaking housing will show the problem area by the wet tissues after the test is completed. We will need to see the photos of this problem area, please.
Step 2: Send us an email Warranty Claim as suggested above, attach the copy of your purchase order invoice and evidence photos or video and describe when and how did you notice the leak.
Step 3: We will evaluate your request and let you know whether we need you to send the housing back to us for inspection or not, depending on the quality of your evidence photos.
Step 4: A warranty inspection is required in approximately 50% of cases, you will have to send us the housing and all accessories to the following address:
Step 5: We will communicate the results of the warranty inspection and the next steps in receiving your replacement housing for confirmed warranty cases.
Returns and Refund Policy

RETURN and REFUND
You can return your product within 14 days from delivery date. If 14 days passed since you received the product, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the original condition upon arrival. It must be in the original packaging as well.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase which is normally an order number (SLExxxx) from the Salted Line Europe website which you can find on out order confirmation emails or on the invoice.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
We may only decide on a partial refund in one of these cases:
- We find an item not in its original condition, damaged or missing for reasons not due to our error
- A product was shipped back to us after the 14 days period from the delivery date without prior email agreement with our team
- A product couldn't be delivered to customer because he or she wasn't available at the time of delivery and failed to pick up the parcel from the local postal service provider
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund within 5 working days.
After the refund is confirmed, we will process the refund payment through the same payment provider (credit card, PayPal, bank transfer) that was used to place and confirm your order.
If you haven’t received a refund within 5 working days after our confirmation, first check your latest bank account status and then contact your credit card or PayPal account support, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often internal processing time required before a refund is posted.
If you’ve checked with the payment provider and your bank and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at email@example.com to clarify the situation.
Important: We may introduce stock clearance sale from time to time, and products bought on sale are not eligible for refunds. Only regular priced items may be refunded. You will be able to identify the sale product in your invoice, we will put the respective note at the bottom of your product invoice that comes in the box.
We only exchange items if they are defective or damaged during delivery. If you discovered a factory defect or damage upon your order arrival, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will advice you on the next steps.

We do not provide RMA label (Return label) and customer is responsible for paying their own shipping cost for product return, unless the product arrived damaged or defective. If the product arrived damaged or defective, our company can reimburse a maximum of 13 Euros for return shipping amount.
Important: Shipping costs and any applicable customs fee and/or import taxes/or VAT related to your initial order arrivals are non-refundable.
Depending on your location, the time required to process your product return or exchange may vary. We will always keep you informed via email about the status and next steps.
If you are shipping an item over EUR 50, we recommend to consider insured shipping tariff which covers the cost of your product in case of the parcel loss by the postal services provider. We can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item for the reasons beyond our control.

No one in Salted Line Europe has access to your payment account details, credit card numbers, validity dates or other details. When processing your order we can only see the last 4 digits of your credit card number as a payment confirmation message from the Stripe payment provider.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
